California Jazz & Wine Festival to Feature Alma Sol Winery as Guest Exhibitor

On Sunday, May 18, 2014, the Rotary Club of Westlake will sponsor the California Food & Wine Festival. This will be the third year for this popular festival which takes place at Conejo Creek Park North at 1351 Janss Road in Thousand Oaks. This exclusive event combines the outstanding jazz performances by local artists with the food, wine and beer of local wineries, breweries and food servers.

The event takes place between 1 PM and 4 PM.  Throughout the afternoon, while musicians perform, attendees will be able to taste wine from the different wineries and sample foods from different restaurants and food service vendors.

Thousand Oaks’ very own Alma Sol Winery will be a featured exhibitor among the represented wineries and breweries. Alma Sol refers to itself as a family-owned, micro-boutique winery. The winery uses premium California grapes from regions such as Napa, Paso Robles, the Santa Maria Valley, and grapes from the Halter Ranch, Cuevas Family, and Still Waters Vineyards. Don’t miss a chance to taste some of these acclaimed award-winning gold, silver and bronze medal wines.

Tickets are available for advance purchase at $55 each, but an Early Bird Special is available through February 15th, which gives people a 20% discount off the ticket price (use promo code 1401 when purchasing online at californiajazzwine.com.)

Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of one of the area’s most popular spring festivals. Come out and help support the community, enjoy the chance to get together with friends and neighbors, while listening to great music and sampling delicious wine and food. The proceeds from admission sales go to help fund music programs at local area high schools.
