Legendary “Ambrosia” Coming to California Jazz & Wine Festival

Amb logo 270x270Those planning to attend the 2014 edition of The California Jazz & Wine Festival in Thousand Oaks will be treated to some great wine, food, and friends. They will also be treated to terrific entertainment from the band Ambrosia.

The legendary band will be performing at this year’s festival on Sunday, May 18th The festival gets underway at 1 PM.

Ambrosia is a California based band, formed in 1970 that went on to have Top 40 hits in the years between ’75 and ’80. Their hits include “Holdin’ On To Yesterday”, “How Much I Feel”, “Biggest Part of Me”, and “You’re the Only Woman (You & I)”. The band was heavily influenced by Crosby, Stills and Nash and played every major venue at the time, including the legendary Whiskey A-Go-Go.

Ambrosia consists of band members Christopher North, Rick Cowling, Joe Puerta, Doug Jackson and Burleigh Drummond. They will provide their soulful harmonies at the California Jazz & Wine Festival in May, and you can be a part of it!
