Live Jazz Music This New Year’s Eve

Swing Into 2015 With These Great Options For Celebrations

Los Angeles will be in full swing the night of December 31st, and options for places to listen to live jazz music will abound. To guide you through the countless choices this New Year’s Eve, the California Jazz & Wine Festival would like to offer the following significant events.

  • Catalina Jazz Club: At 8:00 p.m., the great jazz singer Oleta Adams will take the stage. After her hit single “Get Here” became an anthem in the Gulf War era, Adams has taken her success across the nation and the world. Now done with touring with Phil Collins, Michael Bolton, and Tears For Fears, this four-time Grammy nominated songstress will be in Los Angeles to share her New Year’s Eve with you.
  • Upstairs at Vitello’s knows that some years you want to start the New Year with the kids, while some years you want a more adult-style celebration. As a result, they are offering a three-course meal and one hour show at 7:00 p.m. with family friendly entertainment, and a four-course meal and a two hour show at 10:00 p.m. with the theme “Sexy, Sassy, and Bawdy.” Step back in time and get dapper at Vitello’s this New Year’s Eve.
  • Vibrato: Herb Alpert offers the delightful opportunity to hear Billy Valentine to you and yours this New Year’s Eve. Valentine, of The Valentine Brothers fame, will be offering his soulful styling of live jazz music at 9:30 p.m. The price of admission also includes a four-course dinner and champagne.

After you satiate your jazz palate on December 31st with these options, mark your calendar for the California Jazz & Wine Festival on May 17, 2015.
