Do Not Miss These Standout Wineries

Visit Casa Barranca Winery & Panaro Brothers Winery For A Great Local Glass

There is nothing more pleasant than sitting outdoors, enjoying a beautiful day, while sipping a great glass of wine. Fortunately for Southern Californians, we have the luxury to do just that all year round. Take advantage of our sunny winter months by enjoying a wine tasting at one of these great Ventura County Wineries.

Casa Barranca Organic Winery

This vineyard is filled with history. It sits on the Casa Barranca Estate, founded in 1909 and now designated as a National Historic Landmark. It has also made some history of its own, as it was the first winery in the Santa Barbara area to be certified organic.

For a taste of this history, head to the Casa Barranca tasting room in downtown Ojai. There, you can enjoy Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, Viognier, and Blends. These flavorful varietals come from organically farmed grapes and are handcrafted to yield these boutique bottles.

Panaro Brothers Winery & Tasting Room

Some of the best vineyards tuck their tasting rooms in downtown or industrial sectors for our convenience and enjoyment. Panaro Brothers has done just that, placing their intimate tasting room on Market Street in bustling Ventura. You do not have to travel to Paso Robles, Templeton, or Santa Ynez from where the winery gathers their grapes; you can sip and savor their unique varietals such as Barbera, Dolcetto, and Grenache Blanc in the heart of happening Ventura County.

Fell in love with a bottle? Do not fear- you can get it wherever you are as Panaro Brothers now offers online ordering.

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could sample all of the flavors local wineries have to offer in one place? You can at the California Jazz & Wine Festival!
